This year we were delighted to be awarded a whopping three gold stars for three of our manufactured products.
Our New York Style Pastrami featured for its fifth consecutive year and the judges were bowled over, once again, with our bespoke seasoning and the beef’s overall natural marbled appearance and taste.
Next to be commended was our Southover Plain Dry Gammon, an old favourite here at Southover and one of our original recipes, we were immensely proud to have it described by the judges as ‘proper old-fashioned ham’.
Finally, our own production manager’s self-confessed favourite, our Southover Honey Roast Farmhouse Gammon was also awarded a well-deserved gold star. Another traditional, sweet cured gammon, with added sweetness from the honey-roasting, it’s our highly recommended option for that ham sandwich.
