Southover Food Company enters the retail sector at IFE 2019 with launch of new premium meats brand

The multi award-winning Southover Food Company is delighted to announce the launch of Southover Sussex Cured, a delicious new range of premium cooked meats at IFE 2019. 

This is Southover’s first product range created specifically for retail customers and will be showcased for the first time at the International Food Event (IFE), 17th-20th March at ExCeL.  Southover Food Company will be exhibiting on Stand N3025 and you can find Southover Sussex Cured next door on Stand N3023.

Having delivered excellent quality and personal service for large and small food service, wholesale and manufacturing businesses since 1989, Southover is ideally placed to deliver to the retail market. Delicious Southover Sussex Cured meats are made using quality local ingredients, ‘tried and tested’ family recipes and are traditionally butchered. The new range comprises:

1.New-York Style Pastrami – cured beef coated with a unique blend of spices, cooked and sliced ready to eat

2.Honeyroast Farmhouse Ham – made from whole, quality leg of pork, cured, cooked and roasted with pure honey

3.Farmhouse Plain Ham – made from whole, quality leg of pork, cured, cooked and sliced ready to eat

4.Cooked Topside of Beef – made from whole, specially selected beef, cured cooked and sliced ready to eat

5.Cooked Back Bacon – made from whole quality loins of pork, cured, cooked and sliced ready to eat. (Best served heated).

 

With fresh new branding and designed with stylish cardboard sleeves to appeal to middle and high-end retailers, the meats are perfect for customers who care about quality produce and food provenance. Retailers and consumers can feel confident in the new range as Southover is BRC AA grade certified, meaning their meat production adheres to the most rigorous safety standards.
