This aspect of our training programme covers:
Once you and your staff are trained in Foundation Food Safety you can rest assured that you will have greatly reduced the risks inherent in food storage, preparation and delivery and will be ready for any eventuality. What is HACCP? HACCP or Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points is a set of procedures designed to identify areas of risk in your working environment and allow you to prepare suitable controls and responses for those areas of risk. Put simply the system allows you to analyse the hazard and then introduce critical control points to prevent or control any issues. This greatly reduces the chances of anything going wrong and allows you to respond correctly if anything does occur. Once the system is in place you can then continue to monitor these critical control points, resulting in trend analysis that will allow you to anticipate risks and control them before anything actually goes wrong. |
