It’s something of a ‘Deli Special’ this time, with some of our most successful cooked meats sizing up to some authentic bagels.  The results are, as you can probably already imagine, mouth-watering.

First up is Southover Cooked Meats’ wunderkind of 2008 and 2009, the Thirty Second Bacon.  This multi-award winning product is the result of months of research and development in a bid to produce a premium quality cooked bacon that can be zapped in the microwave for thirty seconds and come out looking, smelling and tasting like it’s fresh out of the pan.  Great stuff!

Another success story for SCM has been the shaved meats range.  Always popular with delis and the like the shaved meats range has just expanded to accommodate an established SCM meat – Salt Beef.  It’s been a Southover favourite for many years as a regular sliced and whole meat and now it’s available thinly shaved, allowing for greater portion control and a delicate new texture that has increased the product and the range’s popularity no end.
