Running with a Wooden Spoon

Steve Pearce, Southover’s co-founder and managing director, is running in the Brighton Marathon this year on April 18th and he’s doing it with Wooden Spoon, an established charity that raises money for disadvantaged children and is partnered with the UK rugby community.  Wooden Spoon have been going since 1983 and are committed to helping children and young people all over the UK and Ireland to live happier and richer lives.

The charity’s strong sporting link has led to a lot of fundraising events through sports and this year is no exception with many events on the calendar throughout 2010.  One of these events that Wooden Spoon will be using to raise money is the Brighton Marathon and this year Steve, a veteran marathon runner, is taking part on their behalf.
