Hand Made Cake Company Cupcakes

The Hand Made Cake Company has got it sussed.  They’ve always prided themselves on delivering delicious, traditional, hand made cakes and slices that have afforded them nothing but success year after year.  So when the American borne revival of the cupcake took off recently HMCC were perfectly positioned to deliver outstanding products in good time to meet the trend.

And these cupcakes are a triumph.  They look great, with tonnes of deliciously rich icing on top of HMCC’s signature sponges.  As with everything they make there’s “no funny stuff”, which is to say that they apply the same rules to these gems as they do all their products and don’t use any artificial ingredients whatsoever and absolutely no hydrogenated fats.

The cupcakes themselves are fragrant and vibrant with jolly colours catching the eye and beautiful scents revealing the promise of natural flavours that run throughout each cake.  They come in four varieties – the Classic Mixed Selection, Naturally Pretty Vanilla Selection, Chocolate Selection and Fruit & Carrot Selection.  All these flavours come frozen in batches of 16, split into plastic ‘pods’ of four with a sehlf life of 2 days at room temperature, once you defrost them.  Each cake weighs about 70g – 80g.
